    IN, a check in report is prepared at the beginning of each new tenancy. In order to conduct a check in the original inventory report must already be prepared, each item on the original inventory will be checked.

    OUT, a check out report is compiled at the end of the tenancy, once the tenant has moved out. This report will record the condition and contents of the property against the original inventory and check in reports.

  • Inventories

    An Inventory details the condition of a property and its contents prior to a new tenancy commencing. It is therefore important that an Inventory record is both in depth, accurate and impartial. This has become particularly relevant since the introduction of the Tenancy Deposit Scheme

  • Inspections

    An interim inspection is made part way through a tenancy and looks at the condition of the property, its contents for any issues there may be. It can also be used to identify if any of the property requires maintenance. This is not a full comparison to the inventory but provides through a range of photographs an idea of how the property is being looked after by way of decoration and cleanliness.
